During his professional career Capt. Ralf Trützschler has gained a broad range of experience in the shipping, insurance and offshore wind industry. He served as a nautical officer on various ship types in merchant shipping for several years before he started working for shipping and ship management companies as nautical and personnel superintendent in Germany and Cyprus.
By joining the “Verein Hanseatischer Transportversicherer”, where he worked as staff surveyor in the Hull & machinery insurance division, he changed the focus in his work towards nautical and technical insurance issues.
For one decade Capt. Ralf Trützschler was employed with Expert Shipping Service GmbH & Co KG/Rickmers Group, where he became Vice President Marine Consulting with responsibilities including the development of the new wind offshore business.
In 2019 he became Managing Director of The Marine Way Consultancy GmbH, where his involvements include various installation projects, major component exchanges, load-out operations, heavy lift operations, cable laying operations, rock dumping operations and CMID /condition / suitability surveys.
