As a results-driven DevOps engineer/cloud infrastructure engineer, i have a strong background in containerization, cloud infrastructure, and automation. I am passionate about optimizing systems for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency, and have a proven track record of delivering successful projects in fast-paced environment with a experienced gained from my roles as an intern devops engineer at the bioinformatics department of gatersleben, a working student devops engineer, and a devops engineer at a leading technology company, i have developed expertise in a range of technologies, including docker, aws, terraform, and git.

in my internship role, i conducted research on docker technologies and identified the most suitable options for processing and storing genotyping data in a scalable and efficient way. By leveraging docker's containerization technology, i enabled the team to simplify the deployment process and improve the reproducibility of our analysis pipelines.

as a working student devops engineer, i provisioned and monitored cloud infrastructure using aws services such as ec2, s3, and cloudformation, ensuring the security and scalability of cloud-based applications. I created jenkins pipelines and utilized git and gitleaks to improve the security of git repositories. Additionally, i automated various tasks using shell scripting, enabling the team to deliver high-quality software faster and more reliably.

in my most recent role as a devops engineer, i successfully implemented a serverless event-driven architecture that resulted in significant cost savings and improved performance. I developed infrastructure as code using terraform, resulting in a reduction of deployment time from days to minutes. I also implemented aws waf for an application that protected it from multiple security vulnerabilities and designed and implemented highly available and fault-tolerant systems on aws, ensuring business continuity during unplanned outages.
