Dear Sirs and Madams,
with this letter, I would like to propose my candidacy as research physicist in your industrial group and company. The opportunities to use and further develop my extensive knowledge of coating and thin film processes, optics, lasers, MEMS, semiconductor processing, surface activation technologies, optical metrology methods in your research team are very appealing to me. I´m extremally motivated to continue my professional experience in the scientific industrial field.
Thereby, I want to change my actual workplace in the industry of IC and semiconductors and go back to research domain.
I have finished my doctoral thesis in December 2021 on the topic of ``Hierarchical arrangements of core-shell metal oxide nanomaterials via amide coupling reactions´´ on Material Science and Nanotechnology field at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürberg. In July 2016 I finished my Master´s degree in Physics in Portugal at the University of Aveiro. Particularly, I chose the specialization of materials science, nanotechnology, photonics and quantum technology and was able to gain extensive knowledge in the areas of quantum physics, applied optics, solid state physics, semiconductor physics, statistical physics, spectroscopy.
Moreover, by working as a developer at the Institute of Telecommunications and as an application engineer at KLA-Orbotech, I was able to gain additional knowledge in the fields of optical systems, lasers, lithography, thin film coating and processes and semiconductors.
Through a variety of studies, I additionally got professional knowledge of PC software such as: MATLAB, C++, C and 3D CAD designs.
In addition, I possess extensive knowledge and experience in MEMS, MOSFETs, organic electronic nanodevices, cold cathodes, hybrid materials, IR and Raman spectroscopy, UV/Vis, X-ray, ALD, UHV, clean room, thin films, lithography, vacuum, plasma, CVD, PVD, sputtering, scanning electron microscope, TEM, STM, AFM, organic materials technology, semiconductors, optical systems, lasers, optical fibers and electronics.
I have quick grasp of things, strong sense of responsibility and enjoy working in a team. Besides, I can speak different languages (Portuguese, German, English, Russian and Spanish) to communicate better with people all around the world both in professional and personal spheres.
