Are you ready to take full ownership for all daily and operational financial tasks for our Commerce segment based in Aarhus? Do you thrive in a fast-paced international environment and want to help ensure high quality, on time delivery and implementation of group standards? Then you might be our new Financial Controller at Truvio.

About The Role

You will play a key part in a trusted and collaborative Group Finance team that supports both the Danish business and our international group.

You will be responsible for our daily core financial processes across accounting, payroll, invoicing and reporting. As you will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the group, this role will offer an opportunity to be part of decision making and have a real business impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Accurate and timely invoicing for our Professional Services and our license subscriptions
  • Ensure high quality in our month-end closing making sure we meet group deadlines
  • Close collaboration with Sales Operations around our subscription business
  • Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, VAT and tax reporting
  • Full responsibility for payroll and reconciliation

About The Team

You’ll join a close-knit finance team of 3 based in Viby J, Aarhus.

We cover all finance-related tasks for our Danish based Commerce section being a part of Truvio- from daily operations to group-level matters. Each of us has our own areas of responsibility, but we work closely together and always support one another.

We believe finance should be approachable and accessible and our “open-door” mindset makes us a trusted partner across the organization — and we take pride in delivering high quality with a positive attitude.

As a team we share an informal tone and we enjoy each other’s company both in the office and outside, where we occasionally meet up for dinner or a social drink.

What We’re Looking For

We imagine you

  • Have a relevant higher education in finance and/or accounting
  • Hold 3 years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Know your way around closing procedures, AP/AR, and core accounting processes
  • Have hands-on experience with payroll administration and reconciliation
  • Communicate fluently in both Danish and English

It’s a Plus If You Also Have

  • Experience with accounting systems, MS Excel, and Microsoft D365 Business Central
  • Experience with mergers & acquisitions and intercompany transactions
  • A background in SaaS or tech and an understanding of subscription business models
