Jobbeskrivelse

At Webdock, we’re building the cloud of the future—fast, reliable VPS infrastructure and the platform around it. We move quickly, we ship often, and we genuinely care about creating a workplace where it’s fun to show up. You’ll join a tight product team with high morale, strong collaboration, and a real emphasis on well-being and a healthy, sustainable pace.

About Webdock Webdock is a 100% EU-owned, independent cloud provider based in Denmark. We’re in full control of operations end-to-end—hardware, software, and the platform—because we’ve built an amazing product from the ground up with our own software stack.

We take ESG seriously and run on green energy, and we’re also implementing own-hosted AI solutions on our own hardware, powered by 100% green energy, in our fully GDPR-compliant green datacenter in Western Funen. We’re expanding to more EU locations—starting with Frankfurt later this year.

What you’ll do

  • Turn polished Figma designs from our Lead Designer into pixel-perfect, production-ready UI
  • Collaborate with design and product on UI/UX improvements—your input will matter
  • Build and maintain interactive features using vanilla JavaScript + jQuery
  • Implement and maintain UI in PHP templates, ensuring correct syntax and reliable rendering logic
  • Work confidently with the HTTP(S) request lifecycle, including:
  • AJAX request flows, async states, and great loading/error UX
  • form handling, validation, and edge cases
  • performance-minded front-end patterns
  • Work in an agile/Scrum setup:
  • break features down into deliverable tasks
  • estimate reasonably accurately
  • communicate progress and risks early

What we’re looking for

  • Strong, practical skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Comfortable with jQuery and “plain JS” (no reliance on heavy frameworks to get things done)
  • Able to read and safely modify PHP templates (you don’t need to be a backend dev, but you must be fluent in PHP syntax)
  • Solid understanding of:
  • DOM + events, browser behavior, accessibility basics
  • HTTP(S), cookies/sessions, request/response flows
  • AJAX/fetch patterns, error handling, and integration with APIs
  • You care about good UI/UX and can spot when something feels off—and suggest improvements
  • You’re a good teammate: pragmatic, clear communicator, and someone who helps keep the team energy high

Frameworks (we’re pragmatic) Today, most of our front-end is jQuery + vanilla JS with PHP template rendering. That said, we’re not religious about it. If introducing a framework (or lighter tooling) makes sense for a part of the product, we’re open to it.

Please tell us which frameworks/tools you’ve used before (e.g. React, Vue, Svelte, Alpine, etc.), what you liked/disliked, and where you believe they add value.

Growth, learning & team culture

  • Annual conference trip (team travel)
  • Opportunity to take courses and continuous education
  • Space to influence decisions and grow with the product and team
  • A product team culture with high morale, strong collaboration, and a real focus on well-being

What we offer

  • Competitive salary
  • A really good pension scheme with strong benefits
  • Hybrid flexibility: work from home when it makes sense
  • A great office environment in Nørre Aaby, Funen
  • Lunch every day
  • Opportunity to enter a warrant program after 1 year (depending on seniority reached)
  • A fun, challenging, startup-like environment where we build, break, and fix fast—together

How to apply Send us:

  • A short intro (what you enjoy building + what you’re looking for)
  • CV / LinkedIn
  • A link to relevant work (portfolio, GitHub, or shipped UI/features)
  • (Optional) A short note on a UI/UX improvement you’re proud of—and why
