EG Housing – Denmark’s Leading Property Administration Software EG Housing is the market leader in software for property administration in Denmark. Our dedicated team consists of more than 70 colleagues across three locations in Denmark, as well as colleagues in India and Poland. We develop software solutions for both private landlords and public housing associations.

Our customers include some of the largest players in the market, and our customer base continues to grow. EG ProBo Extra is a communication platform that delivers web solutions for public housing administration in Denmark. EG ProBo Extra is developed and maintained by a dedicated team of software developers based in Ikast and India.

You will work in our Ikast office, with the option to work remotely up to two days per week.

Your Role as Lead Developer As a Lead Developer, your primary focus will be driving the daily development in close collaboration with our architect and the development team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality software that supports our customers’ core business. In this role, you will combine hands-on development with technical leadership.

You will help orchestrate the team’s daily work while also contributing to planning and refining the tasks and priorities ahead. At EG, AI is becoming an increasingly important partner in software development. You will play a central role in helping the team leverage AI effectively and in advancing our best practices for using AI as a coding partner. “Software development is a team sport, but as Lead Developer you will take up a crucial role on the team, where you must juggle many moving parts and become the team member with that extra gear enabling us to resolve the most challenging impediments and always find a way forward.

The Platform You Will Help Shape

ProBo Extra is a multi-tenant housing platform built with scalability and modularity in mind. The platform is developed in an Nx monorepo and organized around a clear separation of concerns. At its core sits an Angular 19 shell acting as a Native Federation host, dynamically loading five independently deployable micro-frontends at runtime.

Each vertical is a fully self-contained unit with its own Angular frontend, its own ASP.NET Core API, and its own deployment lifecycle. Behind the verticals, a set of data integration adapters abstracts external data sources, while shared backend services handle platform-wide concerns such as authentication (OpenID Connect / JWT), payments, client configuration, and module registry. Content is served through a headless Umbraco CMS.

Your Key Responsibilities

Take responsibility for technical discussions, ensuring we find the best possible solutions to specific impediments and new features while keeping all solutions aligned with our strategic direction. Collaborate closely with Product management and your colleagues on both design and tech. Develop and maintain features in EG ProBo Extra with high code quality. Be the go-to person for the team in overcoming obstacles. Set the technical direction and collaborate closely with the team's architect.

Your Profile: Highly skilled developer with good communication skills The ideal candidate has solid proven experience as a senior software or lead developer — ideally with knowledge of housing administration or enterprise solutions, but this is not a requirement. Ideally, You Bring Proven experience as lead software developer. Strong experience in modern software development practices.

Experience in .Net and/or Angualar is an advantage. Good understanding of software quality, testing, and scalable architectures.

Experience with agile development. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Moreover, proficiency in both Danish and English is required. What's in it for you? A professional environment with many exciting projects.
