MS Systems Programmer role (0.5 FTE → Full-Time Potential)

🚀 The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced IMS Systems Programmer to join us initially on a 0.5 FTE basis, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role. If preferred, additional tasks can be aligned to support a full-time engagement from the start.

This is a great opportunity for a flexible consultant who thrives in dynamic mainframe environments.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IMS (IMS DB / IMS TM) environments
• Support and enhance z/OS-based mainframe systems
• Perform upgrades, patching, and system improvements
• Troubleshoot incidents and ensure high availability
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams

Must-Have:

• Strong experience as an IMS Systems Programmer
• Solid z/OS system programming background
• Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and support
• Strong troubleshooting and operational skills
