About the role
We're looking for a React Native developer to own our Android mobile application. We have an existing web application built with NextJS/React, and we want to bring it to Android as a dedicated mobile app.
Our current Android app is running the web application as a TWA.
We strive to have the best-in-class user experience on all our platforms, and you will bring it to our Android application.
You'll be working closely with our existing team—designers, backend/frontend developers, and product—to figure out what makes sense for mobile and ship it.
You can work on-site, remote, or anything in-between. What matters is that output that you deliver.

What you'll do
Build a new Android app, using React Native and the foundation laid by the current Web app.
- Focus on building bestinclass user experience
- Collaborate directly with the team to make product decisions—we don't have layers of project managers between you and the work
- Work with our existing React/NextJS codebase to understand patterns and reuse domain logic
- Own the Android release process and keep the app in good shape

What we're looking for
- What we value above anything is grit, drive and curiousity. Taking ownership and responsibility, being eager to build an outstanding product, while being humble and a good person.
- Under the right circumstances, 2 years of professional experience in combination with the above is much more valuable than 10 year of experience and not having a growth mindset
- Effective communication skills, selfmotivated and selfmanaging, with great organizational skills
- Solid experience building and shipping highquality React Native apps, specifically for Android
- Genuine interest in Android as a platform—you care about how apps feel on Android, not just that they technically run
- High standards for code quality, maintainability and readability
- Comfort working in a highly agile, iterative software development process.
Nice to have
- Experience with the Android ecosystem beyond React Native (native modules, Play Store processes, device testing)
- Experience with RxJS we use this extensively on our current web platform
- Have worked in a startup or small team before
- Experience in FinTech and/or the investment space is a plus.
- A formal education in Computer Science or similar is a plus

The process
Our application process usually goes as follows:
- Short introduction call with a founder
- Personal interview with CTO + another founder
- Technical interview with CTO + member of Tech Team
- Offer extension
