The job

You will join a cross-functional team of data scientists and software developers who collaborate closely from idea to production, jointly designing, building, and operating new features and services for SitaWare Insight.

As a Senior Software Developer, your key focus will be on infrastructure code, DevOps, and MLOps (Machine Learning Operations), which means to bridge the gap between data science and operations, ensuring smooth deployment, monitoring, and management of machine learning models.

In addition to that, some of your key tasks will be to:

• Improve Python tooling and working processes for our Data Scientists
• Develop infrastructure software to integrate the machine learning models into SitaWare Insight
• Design and implement complex deployment pipelines for Python-based components
• Build automated test frameworks
• Design for scalability
• Implement performance monitoring and security measures
• Work closely with data scientists, testers, and system architects on new features and solutions

In this team, our everyday consists of a variety of technologies and frameworks, where the most prominent you can expect to work with, are:

• Python
• Docker and Kubernetes
• TeamCity
• Bash scripting
• Prometheus and Grafana
• Bitbucket and JIRA
