Simulation Engineer

Assignment description

We are seeking a skilled Model & Simulation Engineer for a 6-month consultancy assignment with a leading engineering-focused organization. This is an opportunity to contribute to innovative development projects within a highly collaborative technical environment.

Description of the Role

As a Model & Simulation Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and validate simulation models that support product development and system analysis. Working with MATLAB and Simulink, you will help create robust modeling and emulation solutions used for testing and verification activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure simulation models accurately represent system behavior and support key development decisions.

The assignment offers exposure to complex technical challenges and advanced engineering methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain simulation models using MATLAB and Simulink
• Design and support emulation environments for testing and validation
• Perform model verification and validation activities
• Analyze simulation results and provide technical recommendations
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define simulation requirements
• Document models, methods, and findings

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink
• Strong understanding of modeling and simulation principles
• Experience with system verification and validation processes
• Knowledge of emulation techniques and virtual testing environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
