Asta Steen Bjerring

My name is Asta Steen Bjerring, I am 19 years old and currently live in Denmark. The 21st of August I am moving to Barcelona with my friend. I am looking for a job while staying here and I am flexible regarding the number of hours that I can work. I am a smiling and outgoing person who loves to socialize with other people. In addition, I am hardworking and conscientious.

In my spare time, I like to be social and active. I love spending time with my friends and family, and at the same time have always played different sports. Between primary school and high school, I spent a year on exchange in New Zealand, where I developed great independence and responsibility while becoming fluent in English. Besides I had Spanish lessons on a high level in high school for 3 years, which means I can speak and write simple Spanish.

I have previously had jobs with a strong focus on customer contact, including a street food restaurent, where I stood in the checkout, received customers, and guided them. I have been working permanently since I was 13 years old and started as a packing and warehouse worker for Beautycos. In addition, I have also worked at a hairdresser, where I cleaned - here my job consisted of keeping the premises orderly and clean.

Most recently, I have worked for Tjenerskolen, where I have been a waiter, stood in a bar etc. at large events and conferences. Besides this, I have been in hospitality as a waiter in a restaurant as well as a takeaway shop. In parallel, since 2018 I have rented rooms through Airbnb and been responsible for cleaning, communication, and reception of guests.
