I am a former international graduate student and student-athlete from Malmö, Sweden pursuing a career in finance. In the spring of 2021, after only three years, I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a BS in Finance, and in August of 2022 I graduated with my MS in Finance from the same university. Once I graduated, I pursued a professional career as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual and I am currently a Tax Return Input Specialist at Boston Financial Investment Management.
Throughout my collegiate career and my professional roles, I have become proficient in Microsoft Excel and gained experience in financial modeling and valuation, data analysis, financial planning, and communicating and visualizing data. I thrive in fast-paced, data-oriented roles in both team and individual projects. Additionally, I’ve completed a self-paced 12-hour course to acquire my Bloomberg Terminal Certificate and completed the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam.
I was a four-year student-athlete on the Men’s Ice Hockey team and have developed strong leadership and teamwork skills as a teammate, and as the President of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. I chose to complete both my undergraduate and graduate studies within four years, which demonstrates time-management, discipline, and my eagerness to work hard to accomplish my goals.
