The Multimedia Design education at KEA focuses on developing practical skills in Multimedia Production and Front-End Design, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and creating accessible user interfaces. Students also learn UX and Content Production, gaining experience in researching user needs, planning digital products, conducting usability tests, and producing visual and multimedia content. The program emphasizes understanding the business and technology context, covering essential topics such as copyright, licensing, sustainable design, and the designer's role within digital businesses.
A strong focus on real-world experience is integrated through collaborative projects with companies like IKEA and H&M, as well as a 10-week internship, either in Denmark or abroad, giving students a chance to apply their knowledge in professional environments.
