I am a dedicated and results-driven Assistant Project Manager who is passionate about managing projects and ensuring their success. I have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. I believe in fostering a collaborative work environment and leveraging technology to improve project efficiency.
I firmly believe in fostering trust within the workplace and taking full responsibility for one's own work. My ultimate goal is becoming an accomplished leader in the field.
In my role as a Project Manager, I led a successful Business Improvement project for a large retirement village located in the Eastern Cape. Despite the challenges posed by Covid-19 restrictions, we were able to complete the project efficiently and effectively through the use of teleconferencing. The project involved documenting the current business processes and re-defining them for improvement. As a result of our efforts, the customer expressed satisfaction with the results.
Intern, I was responsible for a variety of tasks related to project management. This included following up on applications and updating the list of outstanding comments, as well as finding resolutions for those comments. I compiled progress reports on projects every two weeks and assisted with completing tender documents and attending tender briefing sessions.
Additionally, I was tasked with compiling templates for cash flows and automating certain manual tasks to increase efficiency. I provided assistance to specified personnel and fulfilled any other duties as required. Through these responsibilities, I gained valuable experience in managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
I currently work as an Assistant Project Manager. I am responsible for liaising with project stakeholders to ensure clear communication regarding project details and deliverables. My key responsibilities include assisting in the planning and implementation of projects, helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables, analyzing data as required, conducting administrative duties such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices, and drawing estimates, tracking and reporting project progress, and performing any other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner.
