This role will be responsible for implementing robust and scalable solutions to deliver high quality code by utilizing best practices. The role will also be required to demonstrate proficiency across different stages of the SDLC including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and postproduction support.
Responsibilities
Analyzes and defines software and/or systems requirements to determine specifications and standards. Performs coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
Proposes software solutions. Determines the cost of new and/or modified systems and engages in the proposal process.
Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and/or internet-related tools with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
Analyzes and designs databases within an application area.
Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.
May train users and/or write training manuals, monitoring user support and feedback.
Participate in peer code review so that the developed software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required.
Requires 2+ years of related experience.
Industry knowledge and an understanding of best practices and processes including developing and deploying applications and services.
Skilled in developing and supporting enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, IIS, and related .NET frameworks.
Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, and working with high‑volume transactional systems.
Strong understanding of secure application design, including PCI‑related practices, encryption (e.g., DBMS_CRYPTO), authentication/authorization patterns, and integration with identity providers such as Okta.
Experience with DevOps tooling and application lifecycle support, including GitLab (repos/CI), build and deployment pipelines, environment troubleshooting, and supporting Windows/IIS production systems.
Ability to deliver products that tackle critical business needs and iterate with customers for early feedback and areas of improvement.
Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and foster strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business.
Time and project management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines or conflicting demands, adapting to change in work or procedure as needed.
