Location: Hybrid — based in Algeria (candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to Algeria)
We're looking for two Senior Java Developers to build server-side services for a complex, multi-channel enterprise platform — real backend engineers who work in Java day-to-day, not people who used it once a few years ago.
What you'll own:
- Backend service development in Java, with Spring Boot as the primary framework — REST API design, business-logic services, and microservices
- Data persistence across SQL and NoSQL stores — schema design, query optimization, and data-access layer implementation
- Microservices architecture: service boundaries, inter-service communication, resilience patterns (retries, circuit breakers, idempotency)
- Automated testing — unit, integration, and contract-level tests as a standard part of how you ship code, not an afterthought
- Working closely with architecture, QA, and integration teams to deliver correct, maintainable, production-ready services
What you bring:
- 5+ years of continuous, hands-on Java development — this must be your current, primary language, not a past skill you haven't touched recently
- Strong, demonstrable Spring Boot experience: dependency injection, Spring Data, Spring Security, REST controllers, and configuration management
- Solid experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and at least one NoSQL store
- Real microservices experience: designing service boundaries, handling distributed-system failure modes, and reasoning about data consistency across services
- Comfort writing and maintaining automated test suites (JUnit, Mockito, or equivalent) as part of your normal workflow
- Ability to speak fluently and specifically about your own Java work in conversation — architecture decisions, trade-offs, debugging stories — not just keyword familiarity

We will ask specific, detailed technical questions about your recent Java work, and we're looking for genuine depth — if your most recent hands-on Java experience is more than 1-2 years old or was a short-term exposure, this likely isn't the right fit at this time.
