Software Automation Engineer

Company Description Acquiser builds and operates specialized outbound systems for U.S. packaging manufacturers and other high-value B2B suppliers.

We focus on the work between identifying the right target accounts and starting real sales conversations with the right decision-makers.

Our work includes account research, stakeholder identification, data enrichment, personalized cold email, outbound infrastructure, campaign automation, follow-up systems, AI-powered research workflows, and meeting generation.

We are not a mass-outreach agency. Our approach is account-focused, research-driven, highly personalized, and built around finding real commercial opportunities.

We are also building Acquiser for a larger mission: creating a serious, high-performing company that can contribute to meaningful work for the Ummah and support justice and beneficial projects in the world.

Role Description We are hiring a full-time, on-site Software Automation Engineer based in Bordj El Kiffan, Algiers.

You will work directly with me and the Acquiser team.

In the short term, there will be no engineering team underneath you. You will own the technical side yourself.

You will be responsible for building, maintaining, debugging, and improving the systems that power Acquiser's operations.

This can include

• Building internal automation tools and workflows
• Working with APIs, webhooks, databases, AI models, scraping systems, and third-party platforms
• Automating research, enrichment, lead generation, outreach, and internal operations
• Building AI agents and AI-assisted workflows
• Integrating tools such as CRMs, email platforms, enrichment providers, and internal databases
• Debugging broken workflows and production issues
• Improving system reliability and speed
• Writing scripts and internal software when automation tools are not enough
• Testing systems before deployment
• Monitoring existing automations and fixing failures
• Taking unclear technical problems and figuring out how to solve them

You will not receive perfectly written technical specifications for everything.

A major part of the job is understanding the objective, researching the problem, testing solutions, and figuring things out independently.

• Someone who has seriously experimented with AI, not just occasionally used ChatGPT
• Comfortable spending significant time and resources testing models, APIs, agents, and AI development tools
• Able to move quickly while still producing reliable work
• Comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly
• Personally aligned with building useful, ethical work with a larger mission benefiting the Ummah and society

Strong Signal If you have already spent hundreds of dollars of your own money experimenting with AI APIs, coding agents, models, automation tools, or infrastructure because you genuinely wanted to understand what is possible, that is a very strong signal for us.
