Broad experience in maintenance of oil and gas installations (CPF and gas processing units) and power plants. Proficient at working effectively with all levels of associates to get equipment back online in a timely manner while providing all levels of maintenance of centrifugal pumps
(multistage Clyde Union, Guinard, SPX), centrifugal compressors (Nuovo Pignone barrel type,
Thermodyn horizontal split compressors), air coolers (GEA). Overhaul and maintenance of GE heavy-duty gas turbine (5002C-D, 6002), maintenance of GE PGT25, PGT10, PGT15 (PT+GG)
auxiliaries (starting system, lubrication systems). Presently leading a cross-functional maintenance team of 15 co-workers in a gas treatment facility (LPG & condensate recuperation).
Interim Manager of Maintenance Department since 12/2018.
· Plan, implement and supervise all mechanical operations (preventive and corrective) to optimize production (over 500 rotating, static, and heat transfer equipment to ensure a daily rate of 24 MScM of LPG) within safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
Direct the maintenance cross-functional team to ensure equipment repair and overhaul per production requirements, company objectives, and policies related to budget cost, and ontime delivery.
Assign jobs to mechanics and create schedules to ensure and maintain coverage for possible machine breakdowns (04 GE PGT 25+ turbines, 04 Nuovo Pignone 2BCL506
centrifugal compressors, 03 Cryostar turbo-expanders and over 160 different rotating equipment mainly Clyde Union pumps, GEA air coolers, and ABB electric motors).
Lead/supervise Clyde Union API 610 pumps repair and overhaul per production requirements, including but not limited to single, three and 14 stages horizontal and vertical pumps, as required to get equipment back to OEM specs includes uncoupling and dismount of pumps for disassembling, changing wear parts and bearings, repairing sealing systems
(API 682) and changing bearings, assembling, mount on site, shaft alignment (Pruftechnik
Rotalign ) and start-up.
Put in place and action the safe operations procedures and instructions for preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, prepare documentation, and assure on-site technical assistance for all equipment (rotating and positive displacement pumps, coolers, filters,
PSV's, air and nitrogen production packages...)
Inspection and analyses for failure root cause of centrifugal pumps and compressors and their mechanical seals and lubricating systems.
Attending meetings with top management to prepare tasks and coordinate actions and deadlines with the maintenance team.
Elaboration of monthly KPI reports to top management.
