SAFETY TRAINING COORDINATOR (STC). (Berkine Project+Roude Nouss)

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

• Assists the Senior Toolpusher to implement the Policies, Procedures, Standards, training and safe systems of work as outlined in the Weatherford Drilling International Business Management System (BMS) at the rig site.

-Ensures that ALL personnel including subcontractors, third party service personnel and visitors are fully aware of the relevant Weatherford Drilling International policies, procedures and standards prior to being exposed to the worksite.

-Assists the management team with rig site inspections, work permit audits, incident investigations, administrative tasks and plays an active role in the delivery of training, safety initiatives, safety meetings and emergency drills at the rig site.

-Assist the Senior Toolpusher with permit to work administration and perform random PTW Audits as per BMS

-Provide assistance to the Senior Toolpusher to ensure that all Emergency Response Equipment is maintain and operable of as per BMS

• Assist and supervise the practice drills related to emergency response.
• Co-ordinate safety meetings as per BMS
• Perform inductions for all new crewmembers, subcontractors, third party services and visitors as per BMS
• Conduct safety tours on a regular basis and monitor the levels of compliance with all safety related procedures, standards and policies.
• File and maintain a copy of all TRA/SOP’s (Task Risk Assessments & Standard Operating Practices) to ensure crewmembers are complying with the specified safe working procedures as per BMS.

-Coordinate and track the close out of the daily Safe Start/HAZID Card as per BMS.

• Assist the supervisors with maintaining and updating the Improvement Commitment Report (ICR) Register.
• Conduct regular internal safety and awareness training sessions.

including but not limited to: Manual Handling techniques; PPE fitting & correct use; Hazard Identification;

Working at Height; Permit to Work System (PTW), TRA training.

-Review, and discuss the weekly QHSE report with all personnel present at the rig BMS.

• Assist with incident investigations including the reporting and close out of recommended actions, as per BMS.
• Ensure that training and competence programs are maintained in line with the training matrix.
• Assist the Senior Toolpusher to conduct pre-tour meetings with rig crews and to communicate the daily objectives, special instructions, safety precautions and training activities as required.
• Develop and maintain effective customer relationships by good communications with the rig site client representatives.

RIG HSE ADVISOR

-Carring out site inspetions and reporting to my QHSE coordinator the following reports:

Fire equipment,camp inspection, welders workshop, safety harnesses and fall arrest devices, environmental inspection, lifting tools, est.…

-Instructing and assessing subcontractors to verify their compliance to HSE requirements.

-Administrating and reviewing the HSE plan regularly, to ensure that the HSE plan is kept up to date.

-managing journey management plans (JMP).

-Advising workers on safety concerns in daily pre-shift meetings.

-Conducting safety presentations in weekly safety meetings using data show projector.

-Providing inductions to new hires.

-Organizing and orienting emergency teams and conducting drills: fire, BOP, stretcher drills.

-Investigating and reporting accidents, incidents, near misses.and follow-ups.and sharing results with all project staff and deciding improvements accordingly.

-Ensuring the implementation of KCD DEUTAG World Wide Standards onsite.

RIG HSEQ OFFICER 

-Conducting site inspections and reporting to the QHSE department on daily, weekly and monthly basis.

-Conducting interpretion and translation work.

-Attending daily company man meetings.

• Conducting weekly safety meetings and inductions to workers on site.
• Conducting emergency BOP / fire evacuation drills periodically.

-Investigating and reporting accidents, incidents, near misses.and follow-ups.

Nabors Drilling International Limited (RIG 779). (under Sonatrach and Weatherford supervision)

RIG QHSE COORDINATOR

-Responsible for providing QHSE administrative support; reporting to the QHSE manager on daily, weekly and monthly basis (Accidents, near miss reports, fire equipment, Preventive /Corrective Action register, Dropped Objects Mangement System( DOMS),...), Prevent. /Correct. Action register, as per the RMS(rig management system)

- Conducting weekly safety meetings and inductions to workers on site.

- Conducting emergency BOP / fire evacuation drills periodically.

-Investigating and reporting accidents, incidents, near misses and their follow-up reporting.

-Carrying out inspections round rig and camp areas ensuring the well compliance with company safety rules.

My duties include

-Conducting general safety inductions.

• delivering an HSE training programme which is aimed at up-skilling all site employees and new hires in standard health and safety regulations and procedures (confined space, fall protection, driving safety training...) (in English and Arabic).

-PPE storekeeping (managing PPE stock and deliverance relying on computer softwares )

• inspecting fire equipment.
