Lead Data Engineer (SQL) at BairesDev

As a Lead Data Engineer (SQL), you will spearhead the development, optimization, and management of robust database systems to power our enterprise applications. You will act as a key technical guide, ensuring high-performance data processing while aligning database strategies with organizational needs.

What You'll Do

• Mentor database developers and collaborate with key stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Design and document high-performance relational data models and database schemas.
• Develop, test, and maintain complex database objects including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Analyze query execution plans to diagnose performance bottlenecks and implement indexing and tuning strategies.
• Manage database transaction control, ensuring concurrency, data integrity, and proper isolation levels.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Database Development, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in SQL Server development and advanced T-SQL engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience building complex stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Solid understanding of query optimization, performance tuning, and execution plan analysis.
• Experience with relational data modeling, normalization, and transaction management.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
