There’s a belief which grasps on the idea that teaching is a one-way road, and far from this we got to understand it is not about how much knowledge you’ve got, it is how you leverage with what you know, may I say. The surge ahead on TICs after the pandemic has led us to redesign our own perspective to adapt.

I have the proclivity to be into the Academy, let me quote Brumfit, 1997: “A teacher can only teach what he is, he teaches himself” and I would add teaching is about having a clear balance among ontological, methodological and epistemological elements. The cognitive process involved when acquiring communication skills in a foreign language is undoubtedly a complex endeavor, and yes, it’s been a conundrum for the last century, and technology-enhanced language learning gives us a hand although it doesn’t make us the best teacher, it is about giving options to our students.

This is Camelia Nucete, a proactive and team-worker person, I never stop learning, nor teaching, for sure the last 27 years teaching at any level, not only at college but also at school I’ve always been improving my language and communicative skills to give my best, I believe we must be the teacher our students need.
