Dynamic environmental expert with extensive experience in the Government of Ecuador, and other sectors internationally, specializing in environmental policy analysis and project management. Proven track record in drafting national strategies and facilitating international collaborations. Adept at technical writing and stakeholder engagement, driving impactful initiatives to promote sustainable development and combat climate change effectively.
I have worked most recently in the government sector in Ecuador, both in the legislative and executive branches, in matters pertaining to environmental policy development, research, project development, and implementation oversight.
I have more than 10 years of experience in environmental issues such as climate change, water resource management, protected areas and biodiversity, data management, and environmental science. The projects that I have collaborated on fulfilled their objectives and mostly turned into policy development tools.
I am a responsible person, and currently I am looking into returning to my professional career path after taking some time off from work to raise my two sons.
Some of my strengths include responsibility, adaptability to diverse international cultural environments, and experience developing projects, overseeing timelines and objectives, managing teams, and/or mentoring junior staff members.
I have a master's degree in environmental management, focused on industrial ecology, from Yale University, School of the Environment. I also graduated from Hood College with a degree in Environmental Science and Policy and have an associate's degree in Environmental Science from former Burlington County College, now Rowan College at Burlington County.
