Carolina Páramo

I am Carolina. I am an English educator, I have been teaching English as a second language for the past six years, here in my hometown. I graduated as a clynical psychologist. I've been working with children and adolescents for almost 7 years.

In my opinion, it is essential to work with this population because it is when you can make most of an impact in their lives. My work is determined to find new ways of helping my students to develop not only a second language but also gain new communicative and emotional skills. As a psychologist, I have created and participated in some group workshops, specially aiming to the parents of the childreb I work with.

I speak three languages: Spanish, English and Portuguese.

I have worked as an English teacher for the past six years. I have been in charge of planning and executing English classes for students of seven to eight years old. In addition, I am part of the school's academic board. I have to keep a good communication with parents and authorities. I am in charge of the admissions department in the English section.

As a psychologist, I have created different workshops in order to develop conscience of emotional intelligence and skills regarding parenting.

I have worked in two of the most recognized private bilingual schools in Quito and one daily day care. I have also worked as a capoeira teacher.

I have been part of different researches during my college years, as well as being publicated in a book.

I graduated as a clinical psychologist, and currently I am studying my master's degree in neuropschology and education.

I have participated in different workshops regarding education: active methodologies and PBL.

Also, I have taken the FCE to certify my English knowledge, obtaining a C1 level.
