Job Summary The ETSU Gray Fossil Site & Museum is seeking applications for a Coordinator. This position is responsible to the Director for providing support to the museum in facility and site management, website development and maintenance, exhibit maintenance and development, and providing administrative support. This position also supervises and trains some support staff, serves on committees as appropriate, and performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and one (1) year of relevant experience in a role providing customer service in an office setting, comprehensive support for museum facilities management, or a similar administrative role. OR Equivalent combination of education and experience (including relevant part-time, student work, and volunteer experience) may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of relevant experience.

Experience working in a natural history museum.

Experience working with university facilities.

Experience working with and managing contractors for repairs and maintenance.

Experience updating basic information on websites. Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic museum environment with ETSU staff, faculty, staff, and volunteers, as well as our partner, the Hands On Discovery Center.
