Job Summary The Center for Interprofessional Collaboration at East Tennessee State University ( ETSU ) is seeking a dedicated Interprofessional Education Online Coordinator to support the growing online programs for students across the College of Nursing, College of Public Health, and College of Health Sciences. This position reports to the Associate Director of the Center for Interprofessional Collaboration. This role will primarily focus on providing administrative support for the online Interprofessional Education ( IPE ) programs, ensuring effective communication and seamless program delivery for students and faculty.

Key responsibilities include maintaining student records, preparing reports on enrollment and completion, and managing communications with students and faculty for four 3-week learning modules each year. This position requires occasional evening and weekend availability to support online learners. The coordinator will also assist with coordinating activities, sending reminders, addressing inquiries, and collaborating with IPE administrators, advisory committee members, faculty, and students.

Additional duties include assisting with curriculum delivery by drafting supporting documents, managing the D2L site, and troubleshooting any content delivery issues. The coordinator will also support other online IPE programs and may assist with on-ground programs during peak periods. The ETSU Center for Interprofessional Collaboration provides interprofessional education to graduate and undergraduate students from the five Academic Health Science Colleges at ETSU .

The online programs provide innovative training to interprofessional groups of distance-learning students on the four interprofessional education competencies. The online program is actively growing and expanding its reach to online learners at ETSU . A strong emphasis is placed on continuous improvement, innovation, research, dissemination, and faculty training.

Required Qualifications

Must have completed an associate degree or 5 years equivalent work experience. 2 years of experience in organization and management skills.

Preferred Qualifications A bachelor’s degree. 2 years of experience with online learning & learning management systems.
