Senior Java Developer

Position Description:

An agile team of top performers awaits a Senior Developer to build a modern software system and solve complex technical challenges. The project offers an opportunity to contribute to the Defence and Internal Security sector and to get your hands on a variety of software technologies.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.
• Collaborating with a cross-functional team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensuring the performance and quality of applications.
• Maintaining and improving code quality and automation processes.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
• Very strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, REST services, JMS, Postgre SQL, Angular.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and relevant tools.
• Expertise in concurrency, threading, and distributed systems.
• Solid grasp of Clean Code principles and Clean Architecture.
• Estonian citizenship and readiness to apply for a Security Clearance.
