Transcript Analyst

Job Summary The Transcript Analyst performs admission application review and determines eligibility for admission to the university; follows detailed procedures for processing electronic applications; processes incoming transcripts (received by paper or electronic submissions). Duties include the following for transfer and readmission students: evaluating college transcripts to determine transfer credit; applying university standards to determine admissibility; reviewing correspondence; answering related questions for students, parents, and university officials.

Duties include the following for freshman students: reviewing high school units, calculating and reviewing grade point average and standardized test scores for qualifications and admissibility; telephone communication with students, parents, and high school/college officials; performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/ GED

Preferred Qualifications

Two to five years’ experience in business or education preferred (relevant part-time, student worker, graduate assistant experience may be considered).
