Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for an Android Developer based in Cairo, Egypt, with the flexibility of some work-from-home days.
The Android Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for Android platforms.
Build and maintain user-facing Android features using modern best practices.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend to ship features end-to-end.
Write clean, maintainable Kotlin code following agreed architecture and standards.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and platform decisions.
Debug, optimize, and improve app performance and UX.
Stay up to date with Android platform updates and best practices.
1–2 years of hands-on Android development experience
Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and the app lifecycle
Experience working with MVI architecture
Hands-on experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
Comfortable using Git in a team-based workflow
Understanding of Material Design and UI/UX best practices
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Clear communicator and collaborative team player
Eager to learn, grow, and move fast in a startup environment
Cares deeply about user experience and writing clean, readable code
Open, humble, and feedback-oriented, with a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup
