Role Description The Application Developer will design, build, and maintain software applications that support elämä.ai’s products and internal systems. In this full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis, the developer will write clean, efficient code, implement integrations with internal and external services, and work with databases to ensure secure and reliable data storage. Daily tasks include collaborating with product and design teams to refine requirements, troubleshooting and resolving application issues, optimizing performance, and participating in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

The role also involves documenting technical solutions, contributing to architectural decisions, and continuously improving development practices and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong software development and programming skills, with experience in modern languages and frameworks.
• Solid understanding of databases and data modeling, including designing, querying, and optimizing database structures.
• Proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end technologies for building responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Experience with system and API integration, connecting applications to third-party services and internal platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with testing practices (unit, integration, and functional testing) and debugging complex issues.
• Commitment to secure coding practices, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.
