Application Development Supervisor

Role Description The Application Development Supervisor .Net will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of .NET-based applications that support Xceed’s business operations and client services. This full-time, on-site role involves leading a team of developers, assigning and reviewing tasks, ensuring adherence to coding standards, and driving best practices in software engineering. The supervisor will collaborate with IT management, business stakeholders, and project managers to gather requirements, plan releases, and ensure timely delivery of robust, scalable solutions.

Daily responsibilities include hands-on programming, code reviews, performance optimization, troubleshooting application issues, and coordinating database-related development work. The role also includes mentoring team members, contributing to technical documentation, and supporting continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Software Development, particularly in .NET application design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Programming with modern languages and frameworks commonly used in the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience in IT Management, including supervising development teams and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Competence in Project Management to plan, prioritize, and deliver application development projects on schedule.
• Solid understanding of Databases, including design, optimization, and integration with enterprise applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in enterprise or BPO environments and familiarity with secure, high-availability systems are beneficial.
• Ability to communicate clearly, solve complex problems, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced on-site setting.
