Cloud DevOps Engineer

Our DevOps & Cloud team builds, evolves, and operates dynamic, secure, and resilient systems at scale. You’ll be involved in the entire product lifecycle—from initial architecture through development, testing, production support, and ongoing operations—applying modern engineering practices to real operational challenges.

This is a hybrid position based in Cairo, Egypt. Candidates must be located in the Greater Cairo area.

• *What You Will Do
• Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage cloud-based system environments ensuring optimal availability, performance, scalability, and security
• Handle build, release, and configuration management for production systems
• Implement and maintain configuration standards across software and infrastructure
• Manage CI/CD tools and pipelines as a strategic partner to software and QA engineers
• Collaborate closely with other engineers on active projects to expand your expertise
• *Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles
• Solid experience with Linux-based platforms (Debian/Ubuntu/CoreOS)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (Github Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and basic orchestration concepts
• Scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks
• Basic understanding of software testing and quality assurance principles
• Fundamental knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases
• *Preferred Qualifications
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, Helm, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services (Azure or AWS experience is valuable too)
• Knowledge of Microsoft products (Windows Server/IIS)
• Experience with monitoring and service discovery tools
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn emerging DevOps technologies
