About the job Document Controller
Main Purpose:To manage, organize, and control all project documents and drawings, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company standards and project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all project-related documents and engineering drawings (plans, reports, approvals, correspondence).
- Apply accurate coding systems for documents to ensure easy access and tracking.
- Distribute updated versions of drawings and documents to relevant teams and parties.
- Follow up and issue the latest revisions of documents to prevent errors.
- Establish secure electronic and physical archiving systems.
- Prepare periodic reports on document status (issued, reviewed, expired).
- Coordinate with engineering teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth transmission of documents.
- Address issues related to missing, damaged, or incomplete documents.
- University degree/diploma in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Document Controller role (preferably in technical office/construction).
- Proficiency in archiving software and MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
