JOB PURPOSE

Design, develop, customize, and support Oracle Financial modules to meet Elsewedy Electric's functional and reporting requirements, ensuring seamless integration with business processes and reliable operations across finance-related functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oracle EBS Customization & Development: Develop and customize Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules related to Finance, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM).
• Technical Solutions Design: Translate finance department requirements into high-quality technical solutions by designing, coding, testing, and deploying customizations, extensions, and reports.
• Collaboration & Process Improvement: Collaborate with functional consultants and finance stakeholders to analyze business processes and recommend improvements or automation opportunities.
• System Integration: Develop interfaces and integrations between Oracle modules and other internal or external systems (such as banking platforms and procurement tools).
• Reporting Solutions: Create and maintain custom reports using Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, and SQL/PL-SQL for internal and external stakeholders.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system availability, performance, and data integrity.
• Financial Closing Support: Support month-end and year-end closing activities by ensuring system readiness and resolving any finance-related technical bottlenecks.
• System Governance & Documentation: Maintain and document changes, customizations, and technical configurations as part of system governance and audit readiness.
• Upgrades & Compliance: Participate in upgrades, patches, and testing activities to ensure business continuity and system compliance with Oracle standards.
• User Training: Provide user support and training for finance users on developed solutions and Oracle system functionality.
• QHSE Commitment: Maintain active commitment to, and accountability for, Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies and standards. Protect the health, safety, and security of colleagues, eliminate non-conformances, manage risks to create a safe work environment, and support line management in resolving HSE incidents and implementing preventive actions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor of Computer Science (or equivalent degree).
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS.
• Certifications: Professional Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional Developer or Oracle E-Business Suite Specialist) are preferred but not mandatory.
• Skills:
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, XML Publisher (BI Publisher), and Web ADI.
• Strong technical and functional knowledge of Oracle Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM).
• High analytical capacity, structured problem-solving, and system-troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Languages: Very Good proficiency in English (written and spoken).
