Front End Engineer

As a Front-End Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and optimizing user-facing applications, ensuring seamless user experiences and high-performance interfaces. This role is designed for someone who combines strong technical expertise with attention to detail and a passion for clean, efficient code.

You will collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams to bring ideas to life, delivering responsive and engaging web applications that directly impact Octane’s growth. What You'll Be Doing Develop and maintain user-facing features using modern front-end technologies.

Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive code.

Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services.

Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Debug and resolve technical issues and improve overall application stability.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

3–5+ years of experience in front-end development

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration

Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Strong communication and teamwork skills
