Role Description

This is a full-time, Hybrid Full Stack Engineer role based in Cairo, open to junior and intermediate engineers.

The Full Stack

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications across the entire stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end services and databases. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, fixing bugs, writing clean and testable code, and reviewing code from peers. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to refine requirements, estimate effort, and deliver high-quality releases.

The Full Stack

Engineer will also participate in improving development processes, optimizing performance, and ensuring security and reliability in production environments.

Tech Stack

TypeScript across the stack — NestJS on the back-end and React with TanStack Query on the front-end, backed by PostgreSQL, Redis/Valkey, and a serverless-first AWS architecture (ECS/Fargate, S3, and more), with real-time features over WebSockets.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Full-Stack and Software Development, with experience delivering production-ready web applications.
• Hands-on Back-End experience in TypeScript/Node, including APIs, business logic, and database interactions (NestJS is a plus).
• Solid Front-End skills building responsive interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries (React preferred).
• Practical knowledge of CSS for styling, layout, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), code review practices, and modern development workflows.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests, debug issues efficiently, and optimize application performance. • Treats AI as an accelerator, not an authority — verifies before trusting, and can write clear, effective prompts in English (fluency isn't required, precision is).
• Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in a similar engineering role is a plus.
