Role Description The Instructor role at Architect X is a remote, contract position responsible for designing and delivering high-quality online architectural courses. Day-to-day activities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, recording or hosting live virtual sessions, and guiding learners through real-world case studies and project work. Instructors will provide clear explanations of concepts, review assignments, give constructive feedback, and support learners through online discussions and Q&A sessions.

The role also involves collaborating with the curriculum team to refine course content, ensuring alignment with industry standards and learner needs, and participating in periodic meetings to improve the learning experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional experience in architecture or a closely related field, with a strong portfolio of built or conceptual work.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, or presenting complex concepts in a clear and engaging way, preferably in an online or hybrid learning environment.
• Ability to design structured course content, including lesson outlines, assessments, and project briefs that reflect real-world practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support learners of diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
• Comfort with remote work, including proficiency in digital collaboration tools, learning management systems, and basic video recording or webinar platforms.
• Relevant academic background in architecture, design, or a related discipline; professional licensure or certification is an asset but not required.
