Role Description The Lead Developer (Java & Angular) is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. This role is responsible for leading the design and development of scalable software solutions, with a focus on Java, Spring-based back-end services, and Angular front-end applications.

The Lead

Developer will oversee the implementation of microservices, review code, ensure adherence to best practices, and guide team members through technical challenges. Daily activities include collaborating with product and QA teams, refining technical requirements, troubleshooting complex issues, and optimizing application performance. The role also involves mentoring developers, contributing to architectural decisions, and supporting continuous improvement of development processes.

Qualifications

• Strong software development background with experience in designing and building enterprise applications.
• Hands on experience and Technical lead experience
• Proficiency in Java and core programming concepts, including object-oriented design and data structures.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework and related technologies for building robust back-end services.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and best practices for distributed systems.
• Experience with front-end development using Angular or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Ability to lead and mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and testing frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in managed services or working with international clients is an advantage.
