Lead Software Engineer - Angular/Java Full Stack

Role Description The Lead Software Engineer – Angular/Java Full Stack is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end software development using Angular on the front end and Java-based technologies on the back end. Daily tasks include designing and implementing scalable applications, reviewing code, and guiding the team in applying best practices in architecture, security, and performance.

The lead engineer collaborates with product owners and stakeholders to refine requirements, provides technical mentorship to engineers, and ensures high-quality releases through testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The role also involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, contributing to technical documentation, and supporting deployment and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development using Java and related frameworks.
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, with clean, maintainable code practices.
• Expertise in Angular or similar modern front-end frameworks, including component-based architecture and state management.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, integrating front-end and back-end services securely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL), version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools is beneficial.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and drive collaborative problem-solving.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
