Procurement Engineer

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Engineer role based in Al Jizah, Egypt.

Engineer will manage end-to-end procurement activities, including preparing requests for quotation (RFQs), evaluating suppliers, and issuing purchase orders in line with project specifications and company policies. The role involves analyzing technical and commercial proposals, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement plans with project schedules and budgets. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining vendor databases, monitoring supplier performance, and supporting continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications:

• Strong skills in Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) preparation and management.
• Experience handling Purchase Orders and coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for comparing technical and commercial offers and optimizing procurement decisions.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and negotiating with suppliers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Practical experience in procurement or supply chain within engineering, construction, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with ERP or procurement software and standard procurement policies and procedures.
• Ability to work on-site in Al Jizah, Egypt and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
