Role Description The Python Developer internship role at Cretik is a hybrid position based in Cairo, Egypt, allowing a mix of on-site work and work from home. Interns will support the development of backend features and APIs, write clean and maintainable Python code, and assist in integrating databases and third-party services into web applications.

Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with senior developers on software design, debugging and testing code, documenting technical work, and participating in code reviews to learn best practices. Interns may also help optimize application performance, contribute to small development projects, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development to contribute to building and maintaining server-side applications.
• Candidates should possess skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming to write efficient, modular, and reusable Python code.
• Candidates should possess skills in working with Databases, including designing schemas, writing queries, and integrating data layers into applications.
• Solid understanding of Python fundamentals and familiarity with common frameworks (e.g., Django or Flask) is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate within a team, and manage time effectively in a hybrid work setting.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
