Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Java Spring Boot Developer. The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices using Java and the Spring ecosystem. Daily responsibilities include implementing robust APIs, optimizing application performance, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and ensuring code quality through testing and code reviews.

The Senior

Developer will collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions aligned with client requirements. The role also involves contributing to technical design discussions, improving development standards, and mentoring less-experienced team members.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years of experience
• Strong Software Development skills, including designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications.
• Hands-on experience with Java and solid Programming fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms).
• Expertise in the Spring Framework and Spring Boot, including building RESTful services and integrating with external systems.
• Experience designing and implementing Microservices architectures, including service communication, resilience, and scalability.
• Proficiency with modern development practices (Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
• Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases, performance tuning, and secure coding practices.
• Ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in senior or lead backend roles, preferably in enterprise or consulting environments, is an advantage.
