Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled SharePoint Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Microsoft 365 collaboration environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and related Microsoft 365 services while ensuring security, compliance, and an excellent user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, document libraries, lists, and permissions.
- Manage Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Configure and manage user access, security groups, and permission levels.
- Monitor system performance, storage usage, and service health.
- Implement governance policies, retention policies, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive issues and provide end-user support.
- Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and technical procedures.
- Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows to improve business processes.
- Support SharePoint migrations from on-premises or file servers to SharePoint Online.
- Perform regular backups, audits, and system health checks.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver collaboration solutions.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft 365 features and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience administering SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
- Strong knowledge of:
- SharePoint Online
- Microsoft Teams
- OneDrive for Business
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Experience managing:
- Site collections
- Permissions and security
- Document libraries
- Lists and metadata
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with Power Automate; Power Apps is a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, DLP, retention policies, and compliance features.
- Experience with SharePoint migration tools such as ShareGate or Migration Manager is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Administrator Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Collaboration or SharePoint-related certifications.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API or SharePoint Framework (SPFx) is a plus.
- Experience with Intune and Exchange Online is an advantage.
