🚀 We’re Hiring – LIMS Software Engineer

We are looking for a motivated LIMS Software Engineer to join our team and work on the implementation, configuration, customization, and support of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and support LIMS solutions based on business and laboratory requirements.
• Analyze client requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain solutions using Java and JavaScript.
• Work extensively with SQL and relational databases, including data analysis, complex queries, troubleshooting, and data validation.
• Develop and maintain reports using JasperReports / Jasper Studio.
• Support integrations between LIMS and external systems using Web Services, REST APIs, and file-based integration.
• Participate in LIMS implementation and integration projects.
• Participate in client meetings, requirement-gathering sessions, demos, and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot application and database issues and provide technical support.
• Prepare technical documentation and project deliverables.
• Collaborate with the development and implementation team to deliver projects successfully.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript.
• Strong SQL skills with solid experience in writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, data manipulation, and troubleshooting database-related issues.
• Strong understanding of OOP and software development fundamentals.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and with clients.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with LabVantage LIMS or any other LIMS platform.
• Experience with JasperReports / Jasper Studio.
• Experience with Web Services, REST APIs, or system integration.
• Knowledge of QC / Laboratory workflows, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in software implementation or client-facing technical roles.
