Role Description The STEM Instructor will design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate STEM lessons and activities for students on-site in Alexandria. This full-time role involves preparing lesson plans, leading interactive classes, supervising hands-on projects, and adapting teaching methods to different age groups and learning styles. The instructor will monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support learners in developing problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

The role also includes collaborating with other instructors, participating in curriculum development, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Teaching skills, with experience instructing children and adolescents in STEM or related subjects.
• Effective Communication abilities to explain complex concepts clearly and engage diverse learners.
• Experience in Sports Coaching and Physical Education, with knowledge of incorporating movement and activity into learning.
• Background in Baseball or similar team sports that supports teamwork, discipline, and leadership development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, STEM fields, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to create interactive, hands-on lessons and adapt content for different age groups (4–18 years).
• Organizational skills for planning classes, managing classroom time, and tracking student progress.
• Commitment to an inclusive, non-discriminatory learning environment and adherence to child safety standards.
