Job Title: BIM Structural Engineer

Job Purpose

We are seeking a qualified Structural BIM Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to develop, coordinate, and manage structural BIM models across different project stages. The role requires strong knowledge of structural engineering, BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit based on approved structural designs and project requirements.
• Prepare structural drawings, including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, reinforcement details, and structural sections.
• Ensure BIM models comply with approved drawings, design standards, project BIM requirements, and company standards.
• Coordinate structural models with Architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks or similar BIM coordination tools.
• Identify design conflicts and constructability issues and coordinate their resolution with relevant disciplines.
• Prepare and update shop drawings, coordination drawings, and construction details.
• Extract schedules, quantities, and relevant information directly from BIM models.
• Ensure model accuracy, consistency, naming conventions, levels, grids, families, and BIM parameters.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and technical discussions with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Review structural BIM models received from consultants and subcontractors.
• Support the preparation and updating of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project BIM standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Structural BIM and structural engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure.
• Good knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks and BIM coordination workflows.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete structural systems and structural detailing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• Proven experience over 6 years in high-end residential projects - finishes & fit out.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in residential, commercial, mixed-use, or large-scale real estate projects.
• Experience working with developers, consultants, or major contracting companies.
• Knowledge of BIM model auditing and quality control procedures.
