Hardware Design Engineer at MCS Oil (2025-04 – Present)
- Designed multi-layer Digital & Analog PCBs using Altium, dealing with mixed signal ICs and interfaces methods like CAN & RS485.
- Used LT-Spice to verify schematics behavior before fabrication.
- Generated BOMs and checked component availability with supply chain team.
- Supervised the full PCBs assembly process, secured reliable performance across all voltage rails, and collaborated with software team to confirm proper system operation.
Product Design Engineer at Labtronic Industries (2022-11 – 2025-03)
Compiled Bill of Materials (BOMs) for diverse renewable labs managing component selection, experiment planning, and project coordination. Developed technical proposals for multiple tenders requested by universities and offered recommendations to clients.
- Wind Training System: Designed and implemented a modular system that focuses on concepts such as energy storage, battery charging and discharging, and off grid system.
- Solar Thermal Training System: Developed an electromechanical system to allow students know how Domestic Hot Water (DHW) work for householding usage. Successfully implemented the control unit for the system to control two pumps with differential and thermostat controllers with the help of PT1000 and PTC sensors.
- PV Training Kit: Designed and implemented a foundational photovoltaic training system that helps students easily comprehend concepts such as efficiency and types of solar panels, partial shading, and IV-PV characteristics curves.
- Heat Exchanger Supply Unit: Designed and manufactured diverse heat exchangers with a service unit that supplies hot and cold water.
- Hybrid wind/solar Training System: Used a buck-boost converter to simulate a certain PV panel to explain the IV curve when varying load, and when varying irradiance. Collaborated with the design team to implement a flexible mechanical PV emulator that emulates the sun with a lamp, and emulates all angles to make day-night, summer-winter, and other configurations.
Product Design Engineer at Bedo Innovation Education (2022-08 – 2022-11)
- Utilized Simulink to model a doubly fed induction generator with two voltage source converters and their controllers, and generated C code using Embedded coder tool within MATLAB.
- Designed and implemented a 285 watts Push-Pull converter used in renewable energy applications.
- Evaluated and determined appropriate components and devices required for each project, and developed corresponding (BOMs) detailing their specifications.
Intern at Siemens Energy and the Egyptian German Technical Academy (EGTA) (2021-03 – 2021-04)
- Assembled and implemented various power electronics circuits, and utilized AC motors and oscilloscopes to display and analyze the obtained results.
