I have more than 19 of experience in Drilling and Completions Ops starting as Rig Roughneck until the current title of Drilling Superintendent. Also have experience in Drilling Operation Analysis, Drilling Optimization, experienced in well control aspects, and oil and gas Drilling technicalities, familiar with industry standards, specifications, HSE codes, and documentation related to Drilling and completion wells and well control equipment.

Manage the day-to-day operations associated with the Drilling Rig involved in the Field and workover campaign including the monitoring and management of the drilling contractor and resolving operational problems in collaboration with the Assistant Manager of Operations.

• Direct the daily activities of the operations to ensure that all drilling and workover operations are conducted efficiently by the drilling program and the Drilling Reference Manual.
• Responsible for the critical operational actions and decisions to effectively manage the Field campaign efficiently and safely.
• Manage HSE performance on the assigned rigs by enforcing the requirements of the Drilling Reference Manual and by participating in the accident investigation team for all high-potential rig incidents (including all Lost Time Incidents) to ensure lessons are captured and corrective action is taken across all drilling related operations.
• Contribute to the formulation of procedures and operational programs to achieve the onshore drilling and workover objectives and ensure that the Drilling Supervisors, Drilling Contractor Personnel, and Service Company Personnel are aware of and implement these procedures and programs correctly.
• Analyze and resolve operational problems such as “well kicks” and stuck pipe events to minimize lost time, safeguard the wellbore integrity, and avoid recurrence in future wells.
• Manage and monitor the day-to-day activities of the drilling contractor and service companies to ensure that the drilling program is followed accurately, and that flawless execution is achieved in all operations.
• Prepare equipment specifications for the drilling rig contracting process to ensure that contracted rigs and services are fit for purpose and include up-to-date technology and equipment.
• Conduct reviews of Drilling Supervisors following the process to obtain the highest performance from the DSV team and identify development and training needs.
• Develop and train the national staff with the objectives of ensuring the development of high-caliber Drilling Supervisors and Drilling superintendents.
• Define goals and objectives to guide the drilling supervisors and the Drilling and Services Contractors to deliver high operational performance.
