I am a qualified civil engineer has more than 10 years of extensive experience in Highway design for major roads and infrastructures projects in the Middle East and Africa.

I responsible for various stages of the design of projects from the preliminary stage through setting out plans, detailed longitudinal profiles, grading plans, signing and road marking, roads cross-sections details, and final preparation of the bill of quantities for earthworks and other construction details for Highways.

My experience includes design of major urban and rural, suburban road projects incorporating tunnels, bridges complex grade- separated interchanges, service roads, investigation of alternatives and route selection, preparation of specifications and generation of cost estimates.

Worked in different positions as Highway design engineer, senior design engineer and Lead design engineer.

Key Qualifications

• Excellent experience covers the whole stages of design aspects starting from feasibility study, master plan, preliminary and final design, preparation of technical specifications for road construction, BOQ, contract documents, airports design for both airfield and landside, working to a range of engineering standards including AASHTO, United Kingdom and Egyptian codes. In addition to the Gulf Area Codes as MOC- Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi roadway design manual , Kuwait, and Qatar Codes.
• Excellent experience with large scale project design procedures, coordination meetings and roads work design review.
• Reviewing design and drafting works completed by colleagues or other parties for compliance with original design intent
• Knowledge of computer aided techniques in design, and analysis enabled me to assess different alternatives of Highway and airports projects such as: AutoCAD (Excellent), Autodesk Civil 3D (very good), Roundabout, and Autoturn.
