I am a Sudanese medical doctor with a strong foundation in clinical practice, public health, and research, with particular interest in paediatric and infant health. I am registered with the Irish Medical Council and have gained hands-on experience across emergency medicine and surgical settings, where I developed strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and patient-centred care skills in high-pressure environments.

Alongside my clinical work, I have a growing commitment to research and evidence-based practice. I have contributed to academic research, including a published meta-analysis, and I am particularly interested in improving early-life outcomes through data-driven and preventive approaches. My background in global health, complemented by training in mental health and ongoing studies in an MBA in Hospital Administration, allows me to approach clinical research with both scientific rigor and systems-level thinking.

I have also been actively engaged in international and community health initiatives through IFMSA, focusing on human rights, health equity, and peace. These experiences have strengthened my communication, leadership, and ability to work in multicultural teams—skills that are essential in collaborative research environments.
