Job Responsibilities:
- Establishing and improvement of OHS&E annual plan according the organization strategy.

Responsible for
- Implementing Daily job safety analysis and safety meetings to employees, supervising and guiding them.
- Ensure proper personal protective equipment is available and worn by all employees.
- Assist the team in developing proper safe work methods for the operations and jobs to be undertaken.
- Review work practices with area supervisor after an injury or incident, and suggest corrective actions.
- Encourage employees to follow established safe work practices and to wear task specific PPE when required.
- Report to the Site HSE Manager all potential safety concerns, injuries, fires,
spills, and any other related activities that are needed for follow-up.
- Review and check the stores to ensure that adequate resources are available of safety equipment such as gloves, safety belts/harnesses, respirators;
barricade tape, etc. are well stocked.
- Ensures that all personnel are competent and trained to carry out the work that is to being undertaken.
- Review risk assessments in the field to ensure they are relevant and up to date.
- Attend and play an active role in pre-task briefings.
- Correct unsafe behavior and conditions.
- All safety personnel are required to set a personal example.
